About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Access Control: Monitor and control access to the community by verifying credentials, managing gate entries, and ensuring only authorized individuals gain entry.
Patrol Duties: Conduct regular patrols of the community, including common areas, parking lots, and perimeter fences to deter and detect suspicious activity.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents. Provide first aid and assistance as needed until emergency services arrive.
Surveillance Monitoring: Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems. Identify and report any security breaches or maintenance issues.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing their concerns and requests in a courteous and professional manner. Offer assistance with various issues, including lockouts and safety concerns.
Incident Reporting: Document and report all incidents, including observations, activities, and any unusual occurrences. Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities.
Collaboration: Work closely with other security team members and local law enforcement to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Compliance: Adhere to all security protocols, community regulations, and legal requirements. Ensure compliance with all relevant security policies and procedures.

Requirements
Qualifications: Valid CA Driver’s License and clean driving record.Â
Reliable transportation.
Certifications: Valid BSIS Guard Card & Exposed Firearm Certificate is required.
First Aid & CPR Certification (Preferred)
Crisis Prevention & Intervention (Preferred)
Active Shooter (Preferred)
Fire Safety & Response (Preferred)
Tactical Patrol (Preferred)
Executive/Personal Protection (Preferred)

Experience: Previous experience in Law Enforcement or Military is preferred but not mandatory.Â
Skills:Â
Exceptional customer service skills with a strong ability to interact positively with residents and visitors.Â
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.Â
Strong verbal and written communication skills.Â
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Must be able to handle potentially stressful situations and perform physical tasks related to the role.Â
